MOSTICAW Workshop in Porquerolles at IGESA Center

Porquerolles is a small island, located in the gulf of Hyères (France). It is the largest of the three islands that form the Golden Isles. The others are: Port Cros island and le Levant island. Port Cros is also a natural park.

The conference will be held at the center IGESA in Porquerolles.
The centre IGESA is 5 minutes on foot by Porquerolles harbor (see map)

You can find below some informations about how to attend Porquerolles :

To reach Toulon/Hyères/Porquerolles

• By plane Toulon area is served by two airports: Toulon/Hyères (national flights only through Orly) and Marseille-Provence.
• From Orly, Monday the 9th of October, the following departures are available to reach Toulon/Hyères: 7 :55 AM, 9 :05 AM, 10 :50AM, 2 :10 PM (another flight is possible at 3 :55 PM, but it will be not possible to reach the Ferry (last travel at 6 PM)).
• Several flights are available from CDG or Orly to reach Marseille-Provence airport. However we do not recommand this option, because, it is fairly difficult to reach Hyères and Porquerolles from Marseille by train or/and by busses. The best option, from Marseille-Provence airport, would be to rent a car.
  
  

If you land at Hyères, it is better to directly reach La Tour Fondue pier, taking a taxi or the bus ligne 63 to the stop Arromanches and then the bus 67 to La Tour Fondue (more details on the webpage http://www.reseaumistral.com/). See also the map here : Bus 67.
If you land at Marseille, you have to reach Marselle Railway Station by bus, then reach Toulon by Train (or by taxi).

• By train, you can reach Hyères from Paris by TGV (the travel is nearly 4h10 hours). Information on the train schedule is available at the page http://www.sncf.com/en/passengers

• By car GPS coordinates: La Tour Fondue 83400 HYÈRES. Cars are forbidden on the island: you can leave your car at the parking in front of the pier.

To reach Porquerolles (by ferry)

From Hyères:

• Navette TLV-TVM departing from the pier La Tour Fondue :
• Schedule : here
• Return price per person : 19,50 euros
• Bateaux-Taxi (useful for groups) departing from the pier La Tour Fondue

To reach La Tour Fondue from Hyères railway station, you can take bus 67 (map) or a taxi.
From Toulon/Hyères airport, you can reach La Tour Fondue by taxi or by bus (quick link ).

To reach IGESA (by Porquerolles harbour, on foot)

Pass Poquerolles harbour, then turn right. Go on rue de la Douane :  IGESA is at the end of the strees (blue portal).
